REAP: Evaluating Options Before April 24 Deadline Webinar Information

Navigate the ambiguities in the USDAs March 25 letter announcing its so called “path for applicants to support U.S. energy independence.”

REAP grant recipients have until April 24 to decide whether and how to change their project proposals to “remove Harmful DEIA and Far-Left Climate Features.” What does this mean? What options do grant recipients have?

Join Farm Commons on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 AM CT for a free 30-minute webinar, we will navigate the ambiguities in the USDA’s March 25 letter announcing its so-called “path for applicants to support U.S. energy independence.” We’ll unpack the E.O. the USDA refers to, “Unleasing American Energy.” We’ll explore the risks and advantages of options, including choosing to make changes, choosing no changes, or doing nothing. We’ll propose an alternative option: Send a letter to Rural Development regional and national offices ASAP to ask for clarity and assurances. We’ll share sample language to include in such a letter. The webinar will be recorded.
