I am starting an LLC this year and have a similar question. I am going to have to pay an accountant as I can’t get an answer anywhere as to what is best wither. I am retiring and starting a small side business on my 40 acres. I am trying to figure out what to tax structure to file on my IRS 8832. I have read you cannot switch every year – it has to be 5 years. But I am not a professional so I qualify it with that.
